Hrycauk nets hat-trick, Icemen throttle BDR Angers
Calgary, AB – Darcy Hrycauk scored a hat-trick and added two assists as the Icemen extended its winning streak to three games with a 8-2 pounding over the BDR Angers at Stew Hendry on Sunday.
Adding markers for the Icemen was Sean Jozsa with two goals, Gord MacLean and Kevin Patterson and Tyler Palko each adding single goals. Jozsa added three assists, Hrycauk and Chad Coyes each added two assists. Goaltender Travis Copp picked up the victory for the Icemen giving up 0 goals.
Providing the only offence for the BDR Angers was Jason McDonald with two goals. Goaltender Phil Meloche surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the BDR Angers.
With the victory, the Icemen improve to 15-8-4-0 while the BDR Angers fall to 12-9-6-0.
