Calgary, AB – Chris Gibson* scored a hat-trick to lead the Mocoat Thunder to a 10-7 triumph over the Flying Elbows at Ernie Starr on Sunday.

Completing the scoring for for the Mocoat Thunder was Steve Small* with two goals, Greg Varga* and Todd Bigelow*, Dale Martin*, Simon Whitfield* and Adam Quigley* chipping in with singles. Dave Morris* added four assists, Tim Arnett* and Allan Bianchini* each added two assists. Goaltender Leo Thoms* picked up the victory for the Mocoat Thunder giving up seven goals.

Finding the twine for the Flying Elbows was Nathan Woynarski* and Matt Glowa* with a pair of goals each, Brian Weller, Kyle Christensen* and Steve Nadeau* chipping in with a goal each. Darren Dillenbeck* and Steve Tuckey* each added two assists. Goaltender Allan Manz* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Flying Elbows.

With the victory, the Mocoat Thunder improve to 6-17-1-0 while the Flying Elbows fall to 13-10-1-0.
