Calgary, AB – Chris Carlsen* scored a hat-trick to help secure the Westside Wranglers a victory in an 8-3 trouncing over the Rustlers at Optimist on Sunday.

Completing the scoring for for the Westside Wranglers was Andy Coates* and Clayton Carson*, Warren Orban*, Brad Ginet* and John Devine* chipping in with singles. John Bell* added three assists, Todd Horsman* and Shawn Sandeman* each added two assists. Goaltender John Munro picked up the victory for the Westside Wranglers giving up 0 goals.

The victory extinguished the Westside Wranglers' four-game losing streak.

Finding the back of the net for the Rustlers was Nick Darling, RJ Zeniuk* and Chris Davidson each contributing with single markers. Kevin Leonard* and Cody Chorney* each added two assists. Goaltender Cam Goldade surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Rustlers.

With the victory, the Westside Wranglers improve to 11-14-4-0 while the Rustlers fall to 15-11-3-0.
