Calgary, AB – Dean Pylypchuk* scored a hat-trick to spark the Calgary Hogs to a 7-4 win over the Westside Wranglers at Frank McCool on Tuesday.

Also scoring for the Calgary Hogs was Mike Tanton* and Ashley Raabis*, Ryan Grant* and Shawn Zenuk* each adding a goal. Tanton* and Justin Morgan* each added two assists. Goaltender Steve Tansowny* picked up the win for the Calgary Hogs giving up four goals.

Lighting the lamp for the Westside Wranglers was Clayton Carson* with two goals and Brad Ginet* and Todd Horsman* each adding single goals. Goaltender Jim Barath* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Westside Wranglers.

The setback halted the Westside Wranglers' three-game winning streak.

With the win, the Calgary Hogs improve to 6-2-1-0 while the Westside Wranglers fall to 5-4-1-0.
