Calgary, AB – Ashley Johnson* scored his third goal of the season with 9:20 remaining in the third period and Lance Nixon* scored two goals and added two assists to help secure the Tailgaters a victory in a 6-5 victory over the Chevron at Frank McCool on Tuesday.

Adding markers for the Tailgaters was Tristan Janusc* and Ryan Jolly* with a goal each. Nixon* and Devin Wagner* each added two assists. Goaltender Todd Bettison* picked up the victory for the Tailgaters giving up 0 goals.

Providing the offence for the Chevron was Mike Prins* with two goals and Andy Ketchin*, Dallas Blommaert* and Tim Begalke* each contributing with single markers. Scott Sharp* added two assists. Goaltender Darrell Gall* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Chevron.

With the victory, the Tailgaters improve to 4-3-1-0 while the Chevron fall to 1-4-3-0.
