Calgary, AB – Hector MacQuarrie* scored a hat-trick including his 14th goal of the season with 0:02 remaining in the third period and and added two assists to fuel the Schooners to a 10-9 conquest over the Mocoat Thunder at Stew Hendry on Sunday.

Capping off the scoring for the Schooners was Tim Farrell* with a hat-trick, Nick Gill* with two goals, Randy Mosher* and Chris Paz* each tallying single markers. Mosher* and Reagan Tyson* each added three assists, Gill*, Dennis Holder*. Goaltender JF Voyer picked up the win for the Schooners giving up nine goals.

Sniping for the Mocoat Thunder was Adam Quigley* with five goals, Darren Jones* with two goals and Greg Varga* and Dave Morris* contributing with a goal each. Varga* added three assists, Quigley* and Tim Arnett* each added two assists. Goaltender Leo Thoms* surrendered 10 goals in the loss for the Mocoat Thunder.

With the win, the Schooners improve to 11-3-2-0 while the Mocoat Thunder fall to 3-12-1-0.
