Calgary, AB – Matt Vanderberg scored five goals and added two assists as the Rustlers extended its winning streak to three games with a 16-8 thrashing over the Westside Wranglers at George Blundun on Saturday.

Capping off the scoring for the Rustlers was Jeff Huntley with a hat-trick, Ben Couzens* with a hat-trick, Kyle Ruppe with two goals, Kyle Sheen* and Mark Flemming and Mike Hoffman* contributing with a goal each. Sheen* added eight assists, Huntley, Ruppe and Flemming each added three assists, Couzens*, Rick Moore*. Goaltender Cam Goldade picked up the win for the Rustlers giving up 0 goals.

Finding the twine for the Westside Wranglers was Clayton Carson* with four strikes, John Bell* with two goals and Lucas Gill* and Andy Coates* each tallying single markers. Gill* and Warren Orban* each added three assists and Thomas Syvret* added two assists. Goaltender Jim Barath* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Westside Wranglers.

With the win, the Rustlers improve to 8-5-2-0 while the Westside Wranglers fall to 7-7-2-0.
