Calgary, AB – Jay Steele scored his 12th goal of the season with 10:35 remaining in the third period and Dean Iannacone scored a goal and added an assist to lead the Medialogic Mud Dogs to a 5-4 triumph over the Blades at Ernie Starr on Sunday.

Completing the scoring for for the Medialogic Mud Dogs was Ken Ingram, Kevin Van Der Veen, Dave Blaine chipping in with a goal each. Yves Theriault added three assists and Glen Richardson added two assists. Goaltender Matt DeMarco picked up the victory for the Medialogic Mud Dogs giving up 0 goals.

The win snapped the Medialogic Mud Dogs' four-game losing skid.

Finding the twine for the Blades was Jason Johnson with two goals and Dave Wind and Jim Gillies chipping in with singles. Goaltender Graeme Rowe surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Blades.

With the victory, the Medialogic Mud Dogs improve to 11-13-2-0 while the Blades fall to 13-12-1-0.
