Calgary, AB – Scott Bishop* scored two goals to guide the Hopewell Hurricanes to a 7-2 throttling over the Devils at George Blundun on Saturday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Hopewell Hurricanes was Mitchell Nemeth* and Steve Nemeth*, Andrew McWilliams, Mike Nerbas and Kevin Willerton* each adding single tallies. Barry Tanguay* added two assists. Goaltender Steve Tolhurst* picked up the win for the Hopewell Hurricanes giving up two goals.

Contributing the only offence for the Devils was Eric Monteith with two goals. Goaltender Karri Humble surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Devils.

With the win, the Hopewell Hurricanes improve to 7-6-1-0 while the Devils fall to 4-7-3-0.
