Calgary, AB – Blake Knox scored a hat-trick and added an assist to lift the Icehogs to an 11-3 clobbering over the Icecats at Stew Hendry on Sunday.

Capping off the scoring for the Icehogs was Mike Tanton and Scott Lindsay with a pair of goals each and Shawn Foster, Kevin Free, Brad Watts and Todd McAleese contributing with a goal each. Brent Gosselin and Steve Stowe each added four assists, Foster added three assists, Lindsay, Tanton and Free each added two assists. Goaltender Jody Stevens picked up the win for the Icehogs giving up three goals.

Cashing in for the Icecats was T. McDonald with two goals and Nik Cooper with a single tally. Vance Alexander and Rob Christensen each added two assists. Goaltender Larry Guilloux surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Icecats.

The setback halted the Icecats' three-game winning streak.

With the win, the Icehogs improve to 22-1-2-0 while the Icecats fall to 14-9-2-0.
