Calgary, AB – Kevin Lodberg* scored five goals as the Grasshoppers extended its winning streak to three games with a 7-4 triumph over the Flying Hellfish at George Blundun on Saturday.

Capping off the scoring for the Grasshoppers was Dwayne Hutton* and Alex McCallum* chipping in with a goal each. Lance Davidson* and Duane Smith* each added three assists and Gord Edwards* added two assists. Goaltender Darryl Leray* picked up the victory for the Grasshoppers giving up 0 goals.

Finding the twine for the Flying Hellfish was Brett Smith* with two goals and Vince Niro* and Andy Schmidt* each tallying single markers. Goaltender Trevor Devenich surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Flying Hellfish.

With the victory, the Grasshoppers improve to 7-4-1-0 while the Flying Hellfish fall to 7-5-1-0.
