Calgary, AB – Ryan Joseph* scored two goals and added two assists to help the Chiefs to an 8-4 spanking over the Pirates at Village Square on Saturday.

Also scoring for the Chiefs was Steve Hazelhurst and Colin Brain* with a pair of goals each, Bruce Gillis and James Ward* with a goal each. Gillis added four assists, Joseph*, Ward* and John Bunting* each added two assists. Goaltender Jon MacMillan picked up the win for the Chiefs giving up 0 goals.

Lighting the lamp for the Pirates was Tim Cross*, Steve Atkinson*, Nate Roberts* and Todd Pokulm each adding a goal. Corky Smith added three assists. Goaltender Rick Windl* surrendered eight goals in the loss for the Pirates.

With the win, the Chiefs improve to 3-6-2-0 while the Pirates fall to 4-8-0-0.
