Calgary, AB – Sean Goodwin* scored two goals to spark the Southern Alberta Bears erased a three-goal deficit and to an 8-5 win over the Westside Wranglers at George Blundun on Saturday.

Also scoring for the Southern Alberta Bears was John Webb* with two goals and Troy Miller*, Greg Rutherford*, Kirk Sproule* and Bravin Bosch* each adding a goal. Jared Sproule* added three assists, Miller*, Kevin Wowk* and Douglas Skanderup* each added two assists. Goaltender Gordon Wysota* picked up the victory for the Southern Alberta Bears giving up five goals.

Lighting the lamp for the Westside Wranglers was Clayton Carson* with four strikes and Andy Coates* with a single tally. Jamie MacDonald* and Shawn Sandeman* each added two assists. Goaltender Jim Barath* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Westside Wranglers.

The Westside Wranglers jumped out to a 3-0 lead when Carson* scored his 11th of the season with 6:49 left in the first period but Webb* responded for the Southern Alberta Bears with his fourth of the season to start the rally.

With the victory, the Southern Alberta Bears improve to 7-4-1-0 while the Westside Wranglers fall to 5-5-2-0.
