Calgary, AB – Ryan Popilchak* scored a hat-trick and added two assists to help support the Anchor Concrete Bobcats in an 8-2 spanking over the Sofa Kings at Village Square on Saturday.

Adding markers for the Anchor Concrete Bobcats was Cory Balint* with a hat-trick, Jason Zimmer* and Steve Kelly* with a goal each. Jim Vasilopoulos* added four assists, Kevin Pattison* added three assists and Popilchak* added two assists. Goaltender David Feke* picked up the victory for the Anchor Concrete Bobcats giving up 0 goals.

Scoring for the Sofa Kings was Rob Johnston* and Kevin Sawyer* each with single strikes. Goaltender Trevor Devenidge surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Sofa Kings.

With the victory, the Anchor Concrete Bobcats improve to 4-4-0-0 while the Sofa Kings fall to 4-4-0-0.
