Calgary, AB – Brad Vescarelli scored a hat-trick and added an assist to help lift the Fat n Lazy to an 8-5 victory over the Icehogs at Southland on Monday.

Also scoring for the Fat n Lazy was ? Black with two goals, Kieran Longworth and ? White and ? Beaman each with single strikes. Neil Pelletier added three assists, Black, Longworth, Kirk Wilson and Monte Wilson each added two assists. Goaltender ? Fewster picked up the victory for the Fat n Lazy giving up 0 goals.

Scoring for the Icehogs was Mike Tanton, Steve Stowe, Kevin Free, Brent Gosselin and Dave White each adding single goals. Tanton added four assists. Goaltender Jody Stevens surrendered eight goals in the loss for the Icehogs.

The setback halted the Icehogs' 12-game winning streak.

With the victory, the Fat n Lazy improve to 8-15-2-0 while the Icehogs fall to 21-1-2-0.
