Calgary, AB – Mike Tanton* scored a hat-trick to help bring the Calgary Hogs to a 6-1 route over the Pirates at Village Square on Saturday.

Completing the scoring for for the Calgary Hogs was Justin Morgan* with two goals and Derrick Moore* with a single tally. Kevin Free*, Blaine Dobinson* and Stephen Wightman* each added two assists. Goaltender Steve Tansowny* picked up the victory for the Calgary Hogs holding the Pirates to a single goal.

Tallying the only goal for the Pirates was and Mark Harper*, his first of the season. Goaltender Rick Windl* surrendered six goals in the loss for the Pirates.

With the victory, the Calgary Hogs improve to 2-0-0-0 while the Pirates fall to 0-2-0-0.
