Calgary, AB – Tom Podivinsky scored a hat-trick and added an assist as the Divestco Knights extended their winning streak to three games with a 7-5 win over the Sofa Kings at Stew Hendry on Sunday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Divestco Knights was Howard Brekke and Dion Lobreau, Clay Dubyk and Marc Houle chipping in with a goal each. Scott Hanson added four assists and Brekke added two assists. Goaltender Trevor Sedgwick picked up the win for the Divestco Knights giving up 0 goals.

Striking for the Sofa Kings was Dave Avram with two goals and Cory Seaman, Rob Johnston and Patrick Schultz with a goal each. Brett MacDonald added three assists. Goaltender Blair Myers surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Sofa Kings.

With the win, the Divestco Knights improve to 16-8-1-0 while the Sofa Kings fall to 9-13-2-0.
