Calgary, AB – Kyle Smith* scored two goals to help secure the Grasshoppers a victory in a 4-1 victory over the Sofa Kings at Frank McCool on Friday.

Adding markers for the Grasshoppers was Barret Dube* and Brandyn Folden* with a goal each. Gord Edwards* and Kyle Sheen* each added two assists. Goaltender Kiel Edge* picked up the victory for the Grasshoppers holding the Sofa Kings to a single goal.

Scoring the single marker for the Sofa Kings was and Chris Marcotte*, his 18th of the season. Goaltender Nico Vandersalm* surrendered four goals in the loss for the Sofa Kings.

With the victory, the Grasshoppers improve to 15-7-4-0 while the Sofa Kings fall to 10-12-4-0.
