Calgary, AB – Lyden Dyck* scored two goals and added an assist to lead the Pirates to a 7-4 triumph over the Flying Hellfish at Optimist on Sunday.

Completing the scoring for for the Pirates was Scott Atkinson* and Kevin Wall*, Tim Cross*, Scott Grassie* and Brett Stowkowy* each tallying single markers. Atkinson* and Jeff Owens each added two assists. Goaltender Rick Windl* picked up the victory for the Pirates giving up four goals.

Finding the twine for the Flying Hellfish was Mel Linn* with two goals and Scott Bracko and Jeff Wareham* chipping in with a goal each. Brett Smith* added two assists. Goaltender Cam Corbett* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Flying Hellfish.

With the victory, the Pirates improve to 13-7-5-0 while the Flying Hellfish fall to 11-12-2-0.
