Calgary, AB – Ed Melville* scored his third goal of the season with 9:57 remaining in the third period and Jason Lebbert* scored a hat-trick and added two assists to help bring the Mets to a 6-5 triumph over the Panthers at Frank McCool on Tuesday.

Completing the scoring for for the Mets was Scott Cote* with two goals . Cote*, Lebbert* and John Pietrovito* each added two assists. Goaltender Matt Elder* picked up the victory for the Mets giving up 0 goals.

Finding the back of the net for the Panthers was Mike Juhasz*, Scott Coe*, Mike Kruchten*, Rick Dziadyk* and Murray Quibell* chipping in with a goal each. Juhasz* and Mike Tucker* each added two assists. Goaltender Greg Fitzpatrick* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Panthers.

With the victory, the Mets improve to 6-14-3-0 while the Panthers fall to 9-10-4-0.
