Calgary, AB – Nick Darling scored a hat-trick to help support the Blades in a 7-5 victory over the Pylons at Frank McCool on Friday.

Adding markers for the Blades was Ian Stang with two goals, Neil Hawryluk and Ben Couzens with a goal each. Stang, Hawryluk, Bob Storrs, Colin Dyck and Jim Gillies each added two assists. Goaltender Graeme Rowe picked up the victory for the Blades giving up 0 goals.

Scoring for the Pylons was Kendal Pickett with two goals and Pete Zolotas, Devin Dixon and Gus Morfessis each with single strikes. Zolotas and Greg Warnock each added two assists. Goaltender Ray King surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Pylons.

With the victory, the Blades improve to 12-11-1-0 while the Pylons fall to 8-9-6-0.
