Calgary, AB – Shawn Foster scored a hat-trick as the Icehogs extended its winning streak to 11 games with a 10-4 thrashing over the Blades at Ernie Starr on Sunday.

Capping off the scoring for the Icehogs was Scott Lindsay with two goals, Derrick Moore and Todd McAleese, Mike Tanton, Don Campbell and Blaine Dobinson each tallying single markers. Lindsay, Tanton, Moore, McAleese, Cam Mackee and Kevin Free each added two assists. Goaltender Jody Stevens picked up the win for the Icehogs giving up four goals.

Sniping for the Blades was Dale Kindlein with two goals and Jim Gillies and Cory Romashenko contributing with a goal each. Ben Couzens and Jason Johnson each added two assists. Goaltender Graeme Rowe surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Blades.

With the win, the Icehogs improve to 20-0-2-0 while the Blades fall to 11-11-1-0.
