Calgary, AB – Andy Keats* scored a hat-trick and added two assists to help lift the Hopewell Hurricanes to a 12-5 pounding over the Devils at Stew Hendry on Sunday.

Adding markers for the Hopewell Hurricanes was Scott Bishop*, Mitchell Nemeth* and Martin Carter* with a pair of goals each, John Doyle*, Nick Benoit* and Steve Nemeth* each with single strikes. Doyle* and Preston Yachimec* each added three assists, Bishop*, Nemeth*, Benoit*, Aaron Cowley*. Goaltender Steve Tolhurst* picked up the victory for the Hopewell Hurricanes giving up five goals.

Scoring for the Devils was Todd Esler, Steve Gaffny, Mark Gangl, Dave Brewin and Ryan Rausch each adding single goals. Goaltender Karri Humble surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Devils.

With the victory, the Hopewell Hurricanes improve to 9-9-3-0 while the Devils fall to 5-14-2-0.
