Calgary, AB – Neil Webb* scored his sixth goal of the season with 0:51 remaining in the third period and Bravin Bosch* scored a hat-trick as the Blue Ridge Bears extended their winning streak to five games with a 7-6 triumph over the Chiefs at George Blundun on Saturday.

Completing the scoring for for the Blue Ridge Bears was Leo De Guzman*, Geoff Speers*, Tyler Yamashiro* chipping in with a goal each. De Guzman* added three assists. Goaltender Scott Reid* picked up the victory for the Blue Ridge Bears giving up 0 goals.

Finding the back of the net for the Chiefs was Karl Johanson* with a hat-trick and Steve Whynot, Louis Basque* and Terry Gulewich* chipping in with singles. Bruce Gillis* and Darren McCutcheon* each added two assists. Goaltender Scott Ellard surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Chiefs.

With the victory, the Blue Ridge Bears improve to 12-9-1-0 while the Chiefs fall to 8-12-1-0.
