Calgary, AB – Darren McCutcheon* scored a hat-trick to help secure the Chiefs a victory in a 5-2 victory over the Blue Ridge Bears at Stew Hendry on Sunday.

Completing the scoring for for the Chiefs was Bruce Gillis* and Darren McKay* each contributing with single markers. Dave Brown* and Terry Gulewich* each added two assists. Goaltender John MacMillan picked up the victory for the Chiefs giving up 0 goals.

Providing the offence for the Blue Ridge Bears was Geoff Speers* and Bravin Bosch* with a goal each. Neil Webb* added two assists. Goaltender Gordon Wysoga surrendered five goals in the loss for the Blue Ridge Bears.

With the victory, the Chiefs improve to 7-6-1-0 while the Blue Ridge Bears fall to 6-7-1-0.
