Calgary, AB – R Popilchak scored a hat-trick and added an assist to help fuel the Anchor Concrete Bobcats to an 8-4 pounding over the Panthers at Optimist on Saturday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Anchor Concrete Bobcats was M Clarke and B Dougherty, B Ross, D Kelcher and S Kolber chipping in with a goal each. Clarke added four assists, K Pattison and B Scherban each added two assists. Goaltender Trevor Devinch* picked up the win for the Anchor Concrete Bobcats giving up 0 goals.

Striking for the Panthers was Mike Tucker* with two goals and Ken Kornylo* and Andrew Fox* with a goal each. Jeff Stewart* added two assists. Goaltender Greg Fitzpatrick* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Panthers.

With the win, the Anchor Concrete Bobcats improve to 2-9-2-0 while the Panthers fall to 8-3-2-0.
