Calgary, AB – Duane Smith* scored a hat-trick and added an assist to fuel the Grasshoppers to a 10-4 thrashing over the Anchor Concrete Bobcats at Village Square on Saturday.

Capping off the scoring for the Grasshoppers was Andy Walsh* with a hat-trick, Kyle Smith* with two goals, Bobby Coles(spare) and Ian Walsh* each tallying single markers. Coles(spare) added five assists, Smith* added four assists, Brandyn Folden* added three assists and Cam Simpson* added two assists. Goaltender Todd Kendall picked up the win for the Grasshoppers giving up 0 goals.

Finding the twine for the Anchor Concrete Bobcats was C Kravichuk, B Scherban, Bob Storrs* and B Ross chipping in with a goal each. S Kolber added two assists. Goaltender Trevor Devinch* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Anchor Concrete Bobcats.

With the win, the Grasshoppers improve to 7-4-0-0 while the Anchor Concrete Bobcats fall to 1-8-2-0.
