Stang strikes twice, Blades defeat Icecats
Calgary, AB – Ian Stang scored two goals and added two assists to lift the Blades to a 5-3 conquest over the Icecats at Southland on Monday.
Capping off the scoring for the Blades was Dale Kindlein and Jason Johnson and Nick Darling contributing with a goal each. Bob Storrs, Colin Dyck. Goaltender Graeme Rowe picked up the win for the Blades giving up 0 goals.
Cashing in for the Icecats was Cam Fink with two goals and Nik Cooper with a single tally. Rob Christensen added two assists. Goaltender Larry Guilloux surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Icecats.
With the win, the Blades improve to 11-10-1-0 while the Icecats fall to 11-8-2-0.
