Calgary, AB – Greg Staples* scored two goals and added an assist to help lift the Divestco Knights to a 9-4 pounding over the Warthogs at Optimist on Saturday.

Also scoring for the Divestco Knights was Tom Podivinsky* with two goals and Justin Perry*, Shawn Calafatis*, Jason Nelson*, Rob Baillargeon and Andre Baillargeon each with single strikes. Jason Nycz* added four assists, Jeff Mazurak added three assists, Perry*, Calafatis* and Neal Alexanader* each added two assists. Goaltender Trevor Sedgwick* picked up the victory for the Divestco Knights giving up 0 goals.

Scoring for the Warthogs was Blair Whitford*, Pat Shippitt*, Tim Sullivan* and Dan Law* each adding single goals. Goaltender Chris Lowe* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Warthogs.

With the victory, the Divestco Knights improve to 3-5-0-0 while the Warthogs fall to 5-3-1-0.
