Calgary, AB – Marvin Nickel* scored two goals and added two assists to help fuel the Flying Elbows to a 12-5 pounding over the Schooners at Ernie Starr on Sunday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Flying Elbows was Darren Dillenbeck* and Shane Mark* with a pair of goals each, Steve Tuckey*, Darren Feist*, Nathan Woynarski*, Steve Nadeau*, Colin Oke* and Matt Glowa* chipping in with a goal each. Tuckey* added three assists, Feist*, Woynarski*, Dany Noel*. Goaltender Allan Manz* picked up the win for the Flying Elbows giving up 0 goals.

Striking for the Schooners was Jeff Campbell* and Steve Chisholm* with a pair of goals each and Stephen Duncan* with a single tally. Chris Paz* added two assists. Goaltender Jimmy Farrell* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Schooners.

With the win, the Flying Elbows improve to 6-2-0-0 while the Schooners fall to 4-4-0-0.
