Calgary, AB – Tyler Yamashiro* scored two goals and added an assist to help the Blue Ridge Bears to a 6-3 win over the Westside Wranglers at Optimist on Sunday.

Also scoring for the Blue Ridge Bears was Scott Rommens* and Troy Miller*, Matt Skanderup* and Douglas Skanderup* with a goal each. John Webb* added four assists and Nelson Timko* added two assists. Goaltender Dan Oxton picked up the win for the Blue Ridge Bears giving up 0 goals.

Lighting the lamp for the Westside Wranglers was Kurtis Favot*, Warren Orban* and Trevor Gates* each adding a goal. Goaltender Jim Barath* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Westside Wranglers.

With the win, the Blue Ridge Bears improve to 3-1-1-0 while the Westside Wranglers fall to 2-2-1-0.
