Calgary, AB – Chuck Critchley* scored his first goal of the season with 1:34 remaining in the first period and Trevor Burke* scored a hat-trick to help support the Tailgaters in a 6-5 victory over the Hopewell Hurricanes at George Blundun on Saturday.

Adding markers for the Tailgaters was Ross Paton*, Ashley Johnson* each with single strikes. Tristan Janusc* added two assists. Goaltender Todd Bettison* picked up the victory for the Tailgaters giving up 0 goals.

Providing the offence for the Hopewell Hurricanes was Steve Nemeth* with a hat-trick and Aaron Cowley* with two goals . Goaltender Mark Flath surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Hopewell Hurricanes.

With the victory, the Tailgaters improve to 2-1-1-0 while the Hopewell Hurricanes fall to 0-3-1-0.
