Calgary, AB – Andy Coates* scored his seventh goal of the season with 9:13 remaining in the third period and Clayton Carson* scored a hat-trick and added an assist to lift the Westside Wranglers to a 10-9 conquest over the Pylons at Optimist on Saturday.

Capping off the scoring for the Westside Wranglers was Todd Horsman* and Chris Carlsen*, John Bell* and Kurtis Favot* contributing with a goal each. Bell*, Favot*, Carlsen*, Jamie MacDonald*. Goaltender Jim Barath* picked up the win for the Westside Wranglers giving up 0 goals.

Cashing in for the Pylons was Cody Nunweiler* and Paul Robb* and Pete Zolotas* with a pair of goals each, Darcy McGuire*, Dan Tall* and Gavin Ellsworth each adding single tallies. McGuire* added five assists, Nunweiler* added three assists, Gus Morfessis* and Brandon Marchand* each added two assists. Goaltender Ray King* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Pylons.

With the win, the Westside Wranglers improve to 1-1-1-0 while the Pylons fall to 2-1-0-0.
