Johnson nets hat-trick, Warthogs better Predators

Calgary, AB – Trevor Johnson scored a hat-trick to help support the Warthogs in a 6-4 victory over the Predators at Ernie Starr on Sunday.

Adding markers for the Warthogs was Drew Byers and Bil Schwalm and Chris Revak with a goal each. Byers added two assists. Goaltender Mike Nyhus picked up the victory for the Warthogs giving up 0 goals.

The victory extinguished the Warthogs' four-game losing streak.

Scoring for the Predators was Garren Reisinger with a hat-trick and Greg Rieben with a single marker. Goaltender Paul Chatten surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Predators.

With the victory, the Warthogs improve to 5-15-1-0 while the Predators fall to 11-6-4-0.
