Calgary, AB – Jody Stevens pitched a shutout and Kevin Free scored a hat-trick and added an assist to help the Icehogs to a 10-0 spanking over the Colts at Stew Hendry on Sunday.

Also scoring for the Icehogs was Mike Tanton with two goals, Brent Gosselin and Todd McAleese, Rob Lamothe, Brad Watts and Dave White with a goal each. Derrick Moore added three assists, Tanton, Gosselin and Jody Stevens each added two assists.

Goaltender Brian Ector surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Colts.

With the win, the Icehogs improve to 2-0-1-0 while the Colts fall to 0-3-0-0.
