Calgary, AB – Clarke Turpin* scored two goals and added an assist as the Mets extended its winning streak to three games with a 7-4 victory over the Icemen at Optimist on Sunday.

Adding markers for the Mets was Brian Philpott with two goals and Peter Casey, Scott Cote* and Ed Melville* each with single strikes. Al Mowbray* added three assists, Casey and Jason Lebbert* each added two assists. Goaltender Matt Elder* picked up the victory for the Mets giving up 0 goals.

Scoring for the Icemen was Mark Lee*, Chad Coyes*, Sean Jozsa* and Greg Coonfer* each adding single goals. Lee* added two assists. Goaltender Travis Copp* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Icemen.

With the victory, the Mets improve to 10-11-0-0 while the Icemen fall to 5-10-6-0.
