Calgary, AB – Craig Gartner scored two goals and added an assist as the Flying Hellfish erased a three-goal deficit and extended its winning streak to five games with a 7-3 clobbering over the Buffaloes at Stew Hendry on Sunday.

Capping off the scoring for the Flying Hellfish was Curtis Cann* with two goals and Grant McGowan*, Mel Lynne and Pat Niro* contributing with a goal each. McGowan* added three assists and Lynne added two assists. Goaltender Cam Corbett* picked up the win for the Flying Hellfish giving up 0 goals.

Sniping for the Buffaloes was Shawn Robillard* with two goals and Kyle McCrea with a single tally. Goaltender Allan Joncic surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Buffaloes.

The Buffaloes jumped out to a 3-0 lead when McCrea scored his second of the season with 5:45 left in the first period but Niro* responded for the Flying Hellfish with his second of the season to start the rally.

With the win, the Flying Hellfish improve to 20-2-3-0 while the Buffaloes fall to 12-10-3-0.
