Cote puts on clinic, Met�s obliterate Predators
Calgary, AB – Scott Cote scored seven goals as the Met�s extended its winning streak to 10 games with a 10-3 spanking over the Predators at Optimist on Saturday.
Adding markers for the Met�s was Mark Lyle with a hat-trick. Clark Turpin added eight assists, Jason Lebbert added five assists, Al Mowbray and Chris Daskas each added three assists. Goaltender Matt Elder picked up the victory for the Met�s giving up 0 goals.
Providing the offence for the Predators was Brad Gilmour with two goals and Scott Bherer with a single tally. Greg Rieben, Chris Heckel and Clarence Woudsma each added two assists. Goaltender Paul Chatten surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Predators.
With the victory, the Met�s improve to 13-3-3-0 while the Predators fall to 10-5-4-0.
