Calgary, AB – Darren McCutcheon* scored a hat-trick and added an assist to help bring the Chiefs to a 13-7 route over the Westside Wranglers at Village Square on Saturday.

Completing the scoring for for the Chiefs was Scott MacPherson* with a hat-trick, Graham Bogle* with two goals, Karl Johanson* and Bruce Gillis*, Geoff Sanford*, Dave Wirsta* and James Ward* each contributing with single markers. Greg Kardynal * added four assists, Johanson* added three assists, Bogle*, Sanford* and Gillis* each added two assists. Goaltender Scott Ellard picked up the victory for the Chiefs giving up 0 goals.

Finding the back of the net for the Westside Wranglers was Lucas Gill* with two goals and Ken Ritson*, Todd Horsman*, Mark Gangl, Trevor Gates* and Shawn Sandeman* chipping in with singles. Neil Harrison* and Johnny Doorman each added two assists. Goaltender Jim Barath* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Westside Wranglers.

The setback halted the Westside Wranglers' three-game winning streak.

With the victory, the Chiefs improve to 7-7-1-0 while the Westside Wranglers fall to 8-6-1-0.
