Calgary, AB – Jeff Shesky* scored his fifth goal of the season with 8:38 remaining in the third period and Mike Tanton* scored two goals and added an assist as the IceHogs extended their winning streak to four games with a 6-5 conquest over the Blue Ridge Bears at Ernie Starr on Sunday.

Capping off the scoring for the IceHogs was Blaine Dobinson* with two goals, Todd McAleese* with a single marker. Derrick Moore* added three assists. Goaltender Wes Raabis picked up the win for the IceHogs giving up 0 goals.

Cashing in for the Blue Ridge Bears was Bravin Bosch* with two goals and Tyler Yamashiro*, Scott Rommens and Nelson Timko each adding single tallies. Jason Driedger* added three assists and Douglas Skanderup added two assists. Goaltender Scott Reid surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Blue Ridge Bears.

With the win, the IceHogs improve to 12-0-2-0 while the Blue Ridge Bears fall to 6-6-2-0.
