Calgary, AB – Derrick Moore scored a hat-trick and added two assists as the Icehogs extended their winning streak to seven games with a 10-8 triumph over the Icecats at Stew Hendry on Sunday.

Completing the scoring for for the Icehogs was Mike Tanton, Brad Watts and Cam Mackee with a pair of goals each and Kevin Free with a single tally. Free added four assists, Rob Lamothe and Shawn Foster each added three assists, Moore, Tanton, Steve Stowe and Todd McAleese each added two assists. Goaltender Jody Stevens picked up the victory for the Icehogs giving up eight goals.

Finding the twine for the Icecats was Rob Walker and Nik Cooper with a pair of goals each, Rob Christensen, Cam Fink, Reggie Lang and Cam Bowles chipping in with a goal each. Christensen, Fink and Shawn Morgan each added two assists. Goaltender Larry Guilloux surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Icecats.

With the victory, the Icehogs improve to 16-0-2-0 while the Icecats fall to 10-6-2-0.
