Calgary, AB – Mike Kruchten* scored four goals and added an assist to help lift the Panthers to a 9-3 pounding over the Mets at George Blundun on Saturday.

Adding markers for the Panthers was Todd Kathol* with a hat-trick, Dean Setoguchi* and Mike Tucker* each with single strikes. Mike Leslie* added three assists, Jeff Stewart* and S Nadeau each added two assists. Goaltender Greg Fitzpatrick* picked up the victory for the Panthers giving up 0 goals.

Scoring for the Mets was Scott Cote* with two goals and Peter Casey with a single tally. Goaltender Matt Elder* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Mets.

With the victory, the Panthers improve to 6-5-1-0 while the Mets fall to 4-8-0-0.
