Calgary, AB – Darren McCutcheon* scored six goals and added two assists to lead the Chiefs to a 13-7 whipping over the Blue Ridge Bears at Frank McCool on Friday.

Completing the scoring for for the Chiefs was Bruce Gillis* with a hat-trick, Ryan Joseph* and Dominic Tweed with a pair of goals each . Joseph* added five assists, McCutcheon*, Tweed, Graham Bogle*, Terry Gulewich* and Geoff Sanford* each added two assists. Goaltender Scott Ellard picked up the victory for the Chiefs giving up 0 goals.

Finding the twine for the Blue Ridge Bears was Adam Karpoff* with five goals and Tyler Yamashiro* and Kyle Morton chipping in with a goal each. Yamashiro* and John Webb* each added two assists. Goaltender Scott Reid surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Blue Ridge Bears.

With the victory, the Chiefs improve to 5-5-1-0 while the Blue Ridge Bears fall to 5-4-2-0.
