Calgary, AB – Aaron Cowley scored four goals and added two assists to help secure the Hopewell Hurricanes a victory in a 12-5 trouncing over the Calgary Storm at George Blundun on Sunday.

Adding markers for the Hopewell Hurricanes was Andy Keats with a hat-trick, Paul Taylor with a hat-trick, Jeff Snyder with two goals. Keats and Snyder each added five assists, Brent McClocklin, Doug Pickell. Goaltender Mark Flath picked up the victory for the Hopewell Hurricanes giving up 0 goals.

Providing the offence for the Calgary Storm was Dave Scott with two goals and Kevin Scott, Troy Patterson and Clint Neusitzer with a goal each. Scott and Dustin Lato each added two assists. Goaltender Glenn Black surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Calgary Storm.

With the victory, the Hopewell Hurricanes improve to 16-12-2-0 while the Calgary Storm fall to 17-10-3-0.
