Calgary, AB – Gary Smyth scored two goals as the Pirates extended their winning streak to three games with a 7-5 triumph over the Anchor Concrete Bobcats at Ernie Starr on Sunday.

Completing the scoring for for the Pirates was Joe Curts with two goals and Brett Stowkowy, Scott Grassie and Kevin Wall chipping in with singles. Darryl Lewis* added three assists, Roger Miller* and Rick Windl* each added two assists. Goaltender Rick Windl* picked up the victory for the Pirates giving up five goals.

Finding the back of the net for the Anchor Concrete Bobcats was Steve Martin* with two goals and M Oakley, Ioan Matthews* and Brent Hooey* each contributing with single markers. Bob Storrs* and Shawn Heatley each added two assists. Goaltender Trevor Devinch* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Anchor Concrete Bobcats.

With the victory, the Pirates improve to 5-2-2-0 while the Anchor Concrete Bobcats fall to 6-3-0-0.
