Calgary, AB – Shawn Calafatis* scored four goals and added an assist to fuel the Divestco Knights to a 13-2 thrashing over the Hopewell Hurricanes at Ernie Starr on Sunday.

Capping off the scoring for the Divestco Knights was Bryce Davis* with a hat-trick, Evan Perry with two goals, Justin Perry* and Derek Boeckx*, Justin Humenjuk* and Greg Staples* contributing with a goal each. Perry* added four assists, Davis* and Boeckx* each added three assists, Perry, Humenjuk* and Andy Williamson* each added two assists. Goaltender Trevor Sedgwick* picked up the win for the Divestco Knights giving up 0 goals.

Finding the twine for the Hopewell Hurricanes was Paul Taylor* and Jeff Snyder* each tallying single markers. Goaltender Mark Flath* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Hopewell Hurricanes.

The setback halted the Hopewell Hurricanes' three-game winning streak.

With the win, the Divestco Knights improve to 4-1-2-0 while the Hopewell Hurricanes fall to 4-3-0-0.
