Calgary, AB – Andy Keats scored a hat-trick and added three assists as the Hopewell Hurricanes extended its winning streak to four games with a 10-4 pounding over the Schooners at Frank McCool on Friday.

Also scoring for the Hopewell Hurricanes was Brent Snyder with two goals, Doug Pickell and Lane Tamagi, Aaron Cowley, Jason Downey and Jeff Snyder each adding single goals. Keats added three assists, Snyder, Pickell, Tamagi and John Doyle each added two assists. Goaltender John Scott picked up the victory for the Hopewell Hurricanes giving up 0 goals.

Scoring for the Schooners was Mathew Chisholm, Randy Mosher, Perry Braakman and John Macinnis each with single strikes. Chisholm and Mosher each added two assists. Goaltender Jimmy Farrell surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Schooners.

The loss snuffed out the Schooners' four-game winning streak.

With the victory, the Hopewell Hurricanes improve to 15-11-2-0 while the Schooners fall to 17-9-2-0.
