Calgary, AB – Andy Coates* scored a hat-trick and added three assists to help secure the Westside Wranglers a victory in a 12-3 trouncing over the Rustlers at Murray Copot on Thursday.

Completing the scoring for for the Westside Wranglers was Clayton Carson* with a hat-trick, Warren Orban* and Lucas Gill* with a pair of goals each and Ken Ritson* and Trevor Gates* each contributing with single markers. Orban*, Ritson*, Carson* and Gates* each added two assists. Goaltender Jim Barath* picked up the victory for the Westside Wranglers giving up 0 goals.

Finding the back of the net for the Rustlers was Ricky Moore with two goals and Kevin Leonard with a single tally. Goaltender Cam Goldade surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Rustlers.

With the victory, the Westside Wranglers improve to 2-0-0-0 while the Rustlers fall to 0-2-0-0.
