Calgary, AB – Kevin Sawyer scored a goal and added two assists to help fuel the Sofa Kings to a 4-2 conquest over the BDR Angers at George Blundun on Sunday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Sofa Kings was Greg Smith, Jason Manderson, James Kenny each adding single tallies. Sawyer added two assists. Goaltender Blair Myers picked up the win for the Sofa Kings giving up 0 goals.

The victory extinguished the Sofa Kings' four-game losing streak.

Striking for the BDR Angers was Ryan Paulgaard and Brian Deck chipping in with a goal each. Goaltender Derek Eichele surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the BDR Angers.

With the win, the Sofa Kings improve to 7-9-2-0 while the BDR Angers fall to 6-6-5-0.
