Calgary, AB – Bruce Gillis* scored a hat-trick to lead the Chiefs to a 7-3 whipping over the Panthers at Stew Hendry on Sunday.

Completing the scoring for for the Chiefs was Dave Wirsta* and Scott Meyerhoff*, Scott Ellard* and Karl Johanson* chipping in with a goal each. Greg Kardynal * and Matt Riskin* each added two assists. Goaltender Blaine MacKeil * picked up the victory for the Chiefs giving up 0 goals.

Finding the twine for the Panthers was Casey Wheatley*, D Pilling and Rick Dziadyk* chipping in with singles. Goaltender Leslie Redden surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Panthers.

With the victory, the Chiefs improve to 20-6-3-0 while the Panthers fall to 18-9-2-0.
